Today’s episode will help you connect with candidates. When we form a connection with someone, it begins the start of a good relationship. We do this by communicating with the candidate, and once the offer is made, with a new hire. We share things with them that we know they think before they actually come on the interview or start their first day. We predict what they may be thinking about, such as when will I get paid? what do I wear? When will my lunch be? We assist them in the transition and reduce anxiety. As that is sometimes why someone doesn’t show up for the interview or the first day of work. They appreciate the support they are getting.
