Take Time For Me

DC Facebook Squares (6)

I know you hear this all the time and we somehow never find the time. With this being the slowest week of the year typically, take some time and look at the list of things you do. Find time.   I’m telling you, you need to do this. Cut something out or delegate something to someone.

I’ve been so stressed with the pandemic and helping someone I love deal with severe anxiety.   Something had to give.   So I made a list of things I love to do or really want to do and I’m making time everyday to do them.

I’ve added things like:

  • Take a walk
  • Read
  • Create a list of books I want to read
  • Create a list of podcasts I want to listen to
  • Create playlists
  • Do an art
  • Watch TV and do NOTHING

I’m not perfect everyday, but I’ve been more successful than not fitting in these activities.   Take time for you, you deserve it.   We both know that between all the things that need to be done at the Center, at home, with family will all be there AFTER you take 15 – 30 minutes to yourself.

Do it, and then tag me in a post in our Facebook group and let me know what you did and how you feel!  CLICK HERE to join.

I’m cheering you on!
